Opening a Report
To access a Report, click on the Items menu and then choose Item Lists.
You can also access Item Lists by clicking on an Items row in the auction Summary table.
Viewing the Report
Reports are shown in a grid display. Depending on the particular report shown, there may be a number of configurable parameters which will further refine the data shown. In this example there are three parameters.
Paging through Data
At the bottom of the grid is a paging control arrow.
This report has two pages, each showing a maximum of 25 rows.
To advance to the next page, click on the right arrow.
To show more rows per page than the default displays, click on the page size drop-down.
You can sort data by utilizing a column, by clicking on that column's header.
To sort in descending order by a column, click on the column header a second time.
To change a parameter, click on the drop-down menu and select the criteria you wish to use.
Changing a parameter will filter the data shown in the report based on that parameter selected.
Here the report was changed to show only online auction items.
Changing the View
You can change the view shown in the report by clicking on the Select View icon at the right-hand edge. Different views show different columns from the target table.
Clicking on the Select View icon will open a dialog with a list of alternate views. Click on your preferred view format for the report.
Here the Silent Auction Details view was chosen. The columns now show the silent auction information for the items. This view also automatically filters the selected items to only show silent auction items.
Exporting Report Data
At the bottom of the report grid are three buttons to export the data in different formats:
- PDF files are suitable for printing
- CSV for generic data interchange
- XLS for loading into Excel (or Excel compatible) software
The exported data will reflect the columns and sorting options you have selected. But it always exports the full report not just the current page you are looking at.
