Send Bidder Statements

For online auctions, you have the option to email a statement to the bidder with a payment link or you can prepare a printed statement to mail to the bidder with payment instructions.

The first step is to customize the statement to include the information and options you want.

Customize Content

On the Bidder Dashboard, select Statements.

To customize the content in a section, click the Edit icon (pencil).

If you have Connect Your Account and you want to email statements to bidders with a hyperlink that allows them to pay their outstanding balance online by credit card, then select Include payment link.

This link is personalized to each bidder and will take them to their online account page.  Here a bidder can view their statement details and also pay the outstanding balance by credit card.

Customize the header and footer

Add text and select whether or not to show the header and footer on the printed statement.

Select Recipients

If you are emailing statements, click the Select Bidders tab and use the Choose Bidders functionality to select the Bidders to receive email statements.

Preview the Statement

Click a Preview icon on the Select Recipients tab to see what the statement will look like.

Make any necessary changes to the statement.

If you make changes to the statement content, click Refresh statement.

When you are ready to send the statements by email, click Email Statements

A popup window will appear asking you to confirm sending the statements. Click Continue.

A message will appear notifying you that the statements are being sent.

A success message will flash at the top of the screen after the statements have been sent.
